College goes to Picnic in Ramnagar 2015

The students and staff of Govt. Degree College, Jindrah went on a Picnic to the historical town of Ramnagar on 20 October. We, the staff and students reached Ramnagar and then had a visit of Sheesh Mahal as well as the old Palace of Ramnagar. The students exhibited keen interest in old paintings and monuments there. After visiting Sheesh Mahal, they all paid obeience at the Narsingh Mandir of Ramnagar which is the local deity of Ramnagar and is said to be the God of local Kings . The students and the staff also visited Govt. Degree College, Ramnagar situated at village Thaplal about three kilometers away from Ramnagar town and had a feel of their counterparts.

Botanical Tour: A visit to Devak & Nagola

Under the supervision of Ms. Nayreen Khan {HoD, EVs}all the students of 3rd Semester and Part II Annual proceeded on the subject Tour to Devak,Jindrah,a biodiversity site some distance from the College. This site is a rich natural habitat of local flora and fauna which also has ancient heritage sites. Under the supervision of Ms. Nitika the students of 4th Semester proceeded to Nagola. Nagola is a village located 3 kms from the college. It is a natural habitat to local flora and fauna.

Principal Message

GDC has been established to provide quality and standard academic qualification at the door steps. Over the years the college has become a catalyst in the educational development of not only the landlocked area but for the entire region. The college has been endeavoring to inculcate the qualities of discipline, hard work and intelligence among the students for their overall personality development and academic excellence so that in their future life they become good and successful citizens and contribute in a constructive manner to overall development of the country and society.
